I wrote a Journal already about the fact I'm living on my own now as a full-time student. Life's been borked. I'm still seeing my psychologist to keep my head on it's screws, but my house doesn't have an internet connection or a phone yet.
Now, for the things I do have:
-Furniture. That includes bed's, couches and a hide-a-bed in the living room for guests.
-Full weight set. I've been using the crap out of it. Maybe I WILL be in shape once I join the military, the way this is going.
-Dishes. Friend gave them to me since she has no house of her own. I still need to get my CD's back from her. She has my fucking starcraft.
Yeah. But we have no internet!
Has anyone noticed? I feel like I disappeared from everyone's mind.
I just hope you're all happy for me and all that. Godamn is it good to be free.

I'm gonna call Telus today to try setup a phone so I can get a job from one of these places I've applied at. I don't trust Telus' internet so I'm probably not gonna be online for awhile longer until I hook up a solid T1 line.
Personally I find it a bit cool. I'm a pixel nazi, everything has to be perfect in my comics, It's hard for me to step back and look at my own comics from a spectators and not a critics viewpoint, I mainly read this comic because it breaks what I used to consider laws of good comic craft and still manages to tell an engaging story.
Holy shit, I read this once, and did not think anything of this, but I made you see something?
For a long time, especially considering how long I've been detached from the internet and the time to just sit down and read that and dissect it, I remember now:
You broke every law that I used to consider a law of making a spritecomic. You placed the characters where you wanted, played with the speech balloons, put CG art into a spritecomic (Which, in my oldskool opinion, should stay strictly pixels) etc.
Basically, you managed to make a good spritecomic and just have fun with it, and make it your own. It kind of changed my opinion on things.
